Kristal DeFeo is Executive Director of New Horizons Recovery Centers-Kennett Square, PA location.

Kristal DeFeo is the Executive Director of New Horizons Recovery Centers in Kennett Square, PA. She is a behavioral health clinician with a Master’s Degree in Behavioral Counseling from Saint Joseph’s University.

With over 14 years of experience in behavioral health field, she started as an addictions therapist and has experience with adolescent/youth and adults populations in both substance use and mental health. Kristal has provided Program Development to organizations including Merakey (Methadone Maintenance), Mainline Health-Mirmont, and Recovery Centers of America. She has helped outside state providers align with accreditation standards.

Kristal has been part of countless state and national surveys including DDAP, OMHSAS, DHS, BSAS, and Joint Commission in PA, NJ, IN, IL, and MA. Kristal was featured in blogs for the Philadelphia Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual Services as an advocate for recovery and is passionate about helping others find their way!
