Ashley Altman
Ashley Altman is a certified nurse practitioner with over 20 years of working in mental health and addiction treatment. She received her BSN from The Ohio State University (Go Buckeyes!) and her MSN from The Catholic University of America.
As a nurse practitioner, she is very experienced in assessment, diagnosis, and prescribing medications and other treatments, combining both the latest research and each person’s individual needs. NP Altman has previously worked as a clinical instructor and adjunct professor, hospital administrator, outpatient administrator, and inpatient and outpatient clinician.
In addition to working at New Horizons, she also sees outpatients at Collaborative Wellness Partners, an outpatient mental health clinic in Cincinnati.
In her spare time, she volunteers with the Girl Scouts of America, Upward Sports, and is on the Board of Directors for the national non-profit Project K-9 Hero. She lives in Cincinnati with her husband, three kids, and two dogs and they all enjoy spending time at the lakeside, as well as cheering on the Reds and the Bengals!
